SHARP-Pakistan celebrated Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with a Tree Plantation Drive in Fateh Jhang, planting 100 indigenous saplings as a symbol of sustainability and climate action. The event, graced by SHARP Chairman Mr. Liaqat Banori and the team, featured engaging patriotic activities to inspire national pride, followed by the National Anthem and a cake-cutting ceremony, creating a vibrant atmosphere of unity and commitment to a greener Pakistan.
In his remarks, Mr. Banori highlighted that independence is a sacred gift earned through immense sacrifice, and our duty today is not only to protect this land but also to nurture it. He stressed that every tree planted is a promise of life, a shield against climate change, and a pledge of love to Pakistan.
