Under the Provision of Legal Aid and Assistance to Afghan Refugees project, SHARP has arranged a legal camp for Afghan refugees in Tarnol, Islamabad. To closely observe programme’s impact, the SHARP CEO, Mr. Mudassar Javed, and Deputy Regional Director (Operations) of the partner organization also joined.
More than 40 Afghan refugees participated and gained an understanding of the free legal help offered by SHARP with an emphasis on education, tenancy and lost document needs. Our legal experts also shared guidelines to seek assistance in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. While mentioning all the free services for refugees, they stressed SHARP policies for addressing legal concerns on a priority basis.
