SHARP Organized a Coordination & Liaison Workshop with Protection Stakeholders in Lahore

Strengthening Coordination for Collective Protection Impact!

SHARP, in collaboration with our Protection Partner, organized a Coordination & Liaison Workshop with Protection stakeholders in Lahore — marking an important step toward strengthened collaboration and communication among stakeholders working for displaced Afghan nationals.

The workshop, facilitated and led by PD-ICT Mr. Aatif Afzal, brought together representatives from civil society organizations (CSOs), government departments, UN partners, and community-based actors. The participants shared their ongoing initiatives, explored potential synergies, and discussed ways to establish a coordinated referral and response mechanism to ensure timely and effective support for persons of concern. A major outcome of the workshop was the nomination of organizational focal persons to enhance future coordination, information-sharing, and protection linkages among partners.
💬 “Partnerships built on trust, empathy, and shared purpose are the backbone of sustainable protection systems. When we collaborate, we don’t just expand our reach — we multiply our impact,” — Mr. Aatif Afzal, PD-ICT, SHARP.

The session served as a dynamic platform to:
✅ Strengthen inter-agency cooperation and communication.
✅ Promote community well-being and human rights awareness.
✅ Build unified momentum for protection and assistance efforts.

Hats off to our FM (Lahore) Ms. Arooj-un-Nissa, Project Officer Mr. Noor, and their dedicated teams for their outstanding organization and impactful execution of this event.

The workshop concluded with a shared resolve to stand together for rights, dignity, and informed futures — reaffirming SHARP’s commitment to collaborative humanitarian action.
