A one day training was organized for Police officials on 12th April, 2019 in Police Line, Juherabad, District Khushab. The participants included 34 Senior Police Officials (341Male & 3 Female) of District Khushab participated in the Training Workshop.

The training workshop commenced with welcome note by Imran (FM) to all participants on behalf of SHARP-PAKISTAN.
SHARP Introduction & Session on Human Rights by Mudassar Javed (Director SHARP)
Mudassar Javed (Director SHARP) delivered presentation on the introduction of SHARP. He put light on SHARP past and ongoing Partnership and Collaborations, beside that he also emphasized on the Importance of its coordination with its Stakeholders. On the Completion of SHARP Introduction, he also delivered a comprehensive session on Human Rights with references of international instruments and law of the land.
Presentation on International Refugees Law, UNHCR Mandate, Status of Afghan Refugees in Pakistan & Foreigners Act, 1946 by Waseem Rehman (UNHCR)
Mr. Waseem Rehman delivered a detail presentation on UNHCR Mandate, Refugees rights and their obligation. He indicates the historical background of Refugees and 1951 convention and its Protocol 1967. He explained to participants about Proof of Registration Card and its extension through several notifications by Government of Pakistan. He sustained that Foreigners Act 1946 does not attract to Registered Afghan Refugees. At the end, he answered quires of participants.
