SEM-supported Team conducted a sensitization workshop on human & refugee rights with young lawyers of District Bar Association Rawalpindi at Islamabad. PC Mr. Aatif Afzal and lawyer Mr. Zia Shah facilitated the workshop sessions while Chairman Mr. Liaqat Banori also spoke on the occasion and emphasized upon the crucial role of lawyers fraternity in protecting rights of the most vulnerable segments of the society.
Society for Human Rights and Prisoners Aid (SHARP), is a Non-Profitable, Non-Political and Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered with the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies, Islamabad Capital Territory under Registration and Control Ordinance 1961 (XLVI of 1961). It got Registration No. VSWA/ICT/300 on 11th March 1999.
