As part of the AMNA Project, SHARP conducted an insightful awareness session for Afghan refugee caregivers, focusing on the Window of Tolerance—an essential framework for understanding and managing stress and trauma effectively.
The session empowered caregivers to recognize and regulate their own emotions while addressing the emotional needs of their children, fostering a nurturing and supportive home environment. Through interactive exercises, participants gained practical experience in identifying and expanding their Window of Tolerance, promoting resilience and emotional well-being.
By equipping caregivers with these vital skills, SHARP continues to pave the way for stronger families, balanced emotional health, and a brighter, more hopeful future for communities.
