SHARP, under the AMNA project, brought together 38 caregivers, including 5 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), for an empowering and healing session in Attock. Facilitated by project coordinator Ms. Maleeha Sami and Ms. Maira Mansoor, this session used AMNA’s approach to create a safe, trauma-sensitive space for self-expression, mutual respect, and community bonding.
Through engaging activities like the emotional station, trust walk, and laughter chain, participants experienced reduced stress, strengthened bonds, and developed valuable healing tools for their journey. The session focused on empowering individuals, fostering shared resilience, and validating the worth of both caregivers and PWDs.
