SHARP, in collaboration with the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), successfully conducted two back-to-back one-day theatre workshops on February 18th and 19th, 2025, at Khyber Technical College and Government Dr. Khan Shaheed Degree College, Kabal, Swat.
These workshops were held under the European Union (EU)-funded project “AMAN-KAAR (Performers for Peace)”, aimed at bringing together youth from diverse backgrounds to foster social cohesion, inclusivity, harmony, tolerance, and peaceful co-existence, while preventing violent extremism.
The workshops, facilitated by renowned theatre director and activist, Mr. Safeer Ullah Khan, served as a platform for collecting real-life stories to develop scripts for impactful theatre performances. SHARP’s Project Manager, Mr. Zahid Usman, introduced the participants to SHARP’s vision and mission, along with an overview of the AMAN-KAAR project, its objectives and key activities.
Through initiatives like these, SHARP remains committed to empowering youth and promoting peace through creative expression.
