We are truly elated to share our joyful activity held in Islamabad under the AMNA-supported MHPSS project: “A Day of Peace and Creativity with Afghan Refugee Children.”
Our vibrant team engaged with 30+ refugee and host children through a series of creative and expressive activities: Creating Peace Mandalas; Music and Movement; Creative Plate Faces.
Our energetic team gelled with the children, enhancing their creativity and self-expression, increasing confidence and pride in their artistic abilities, and fostering a sense of community through group participation. The positive and joyful engagement provided a safe and supportive environment, promoting emotional well-being and reducing trauma symptoms. The activities also increased cultural pride and a sense of identity among the children.
