SHARP, in collaboration with the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), organized an engaging theater workshop at Government Post Graduate College, Muzaffargarh. This initiative was part of the EU-funded “AMAN-KAAR (Performers for Peace)” program, aimed at fostering social harmony, cohesion, inclusivity, tolerance, and acceptance through creative expression.
The workshop brought together young individuals from diverse backgrounds, providing them with a platform to explore and express the power of art in peacebuilding. Project Manager, Mr. Zahid Usman, opened the session by introducing SHARP’s mission and the vision behind AMAN-KAAR. He emphasized how creative platforms can empower youth and strengthen peaceful coexistence by fostering dialogue and understanding.
Under the mentorship of renowned theater director and activist Mr. Safeer Ullah Khan, participants transformed their real-life experiences into compelling, thought-provoking performances. The workshop not only enhanced their artistic skills but also deepened their understanding of social cohesion, harmony, and acceptance.
Through initiatives like these, SHARP continues to leverage the arts as a powerful tool for peacebuilding, encouraging a culture of tolerance, inclusivity, and mutual respect.
