Team Protection Project Karachi conducted back-to-back events: a training workshop with lawyers and a consultative session with stakeholders for strengthening coordination & referral mechanism. 60+ lawyers participated in the workshop on human & refugee rights while different stakeholders including representatives from government departments, NGOs, UNHCR, IOM and IPs attended the consultative session.
Mr. Ikhtiar Ali Channa, General Secretary, Karachi Bar Association, graced the occasion in lawyers workshop while Mr. Hamood-ur-Rehman Mengal, Commissioner for Afghan Refugees (Sindh) was chief guest of the stakeholders’ consultative session.
