SHARP conducted a one-day sensitizing workshop on Human Rights, Refugee Rights and International Refugee Laws & Conventions in Lahore. 25 Public Prosecutors attended the workshop and took keen interest in the proceedings while also participating enthusiastically in the interactive discussions.
Enriching the event with his intellectual insights, Chairman SHARP Syed Liaqat Binori termed the workshop a crucial step towards enhancing the understanding of human rights and refugee rights among legal professionals. He added that by equipping public prosecutors with the knowledge and tools needed to uphold these rights, we are fostering a more just and inclusive society.
Chief Guest, Prosecutor General (Punjab) Mr. Farhad Ali Shah praised the initiative, stating: “SHARP’s commitment to capacity building is commendable. This workshop not only broadens our legal understanding but also strengthens our resolve to protect and promote human rights and refugee rights.
