A moment of pride and celebration at SHARP Pakistan Head Office, Islamabad, as the leadership and team came together to celebrate SHARP Pakistan receiving First Position in the Human Rights Category at the Global Compact Network Pakistan (GCNP) Sustainability Awards 2026.
Upon returning to the office after receiving the award on behalf of SHARP Pakistan, Mr. Mudassar Javed, CEO SHARP Pakistan, was welcomed by the senior leadership and Islamabad-based staff. A celebration cake was cut in the presence of Chairman of SHARP Syed Liaqat Banori, the Project Directors, the Admin and Finance Directors, and the SHARP Islamabad team.
Speaking on the occasion, CEO Mr. Muhammad Mudassar Javed highlighted that this prestigious award was given to SHARP Pakistan in recognition of its 27 years of dedicated service and outstanding contribution to human rights, particularly through:
Justice and Legal Aid: providing free legal aid and access to justice for displaced communities, refugees, prisoners and marginalized individuals.
Protection of Human Rights: safeguarding the fundamental rights, freedoms and dignity of vulnerable communities.
Commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals: aligning SHARP’s work with global human rights standards, especially SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.Chairman Syed Liaqat Banori expressed gratitude to SHARP’s beneficiaries, partners, stakeholders, donors, staff and well-wishers, whose continued trust, support and dedication have contributed to this achievement. Chairman also congratulated the entire SHARP team on this significant recognition and extended his best wishes for SHARP’s continued success and greater achievements in the future.
