The Mock Court, the Finale and the Road Ahead
SHARP-Women Balochistan Cohort | Highlights, Day 5 of 5The final day, and what a finale it was! 
Ms. Rida Tahir (Senior Advocate; Member, Sindh Commission on the Status of Women) opened the day by placing women’s rights on the global stage: SDG 5, CEDAW, the CRC, the ICCPR and UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace and Security.
Then came the moment everyone had been building towards: the mock court! Participants took on a complex GBV case with multiple actors and stepped into their roles. They argued it out before resource persons and peers, putting five days of learning to the ultimate test. 
A post-training assessment showed how far the cohort had come. Then the closing ceremony brought together heartfelt remarks from SHARP, the Sindh Judicial Academy and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany.
