SHARP conducted a one-day consultative workshop in Lahore with the judiciary under SEM-supported integrated protection project, focusing on Human Rights and Refugee Laws.
In his keynote address CEO Mr. Mudassar Javed reaffirmed SHARP’s 25-year dedication to advocating for human rights and refugee rights, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to facilitating capacity-building opportunities for the judiciary.
The workshop was facilitated by Ms. Arooj Un Nissa, our Field Manager (Lahore), along with Retired Sessions Judge Mr. Muhammad Hafeez Khan and Mr. Usman Ghani, Director (Legal) CAR Punjab Office, and provided comprehensive insights about human rights, CCR, and refugee laws in Pakistan, and equipped participants with essential knowledge to better support vulnerable communities.
The event was also graced by Mr. Justice (Retd.) Sardar Ahmed Naeem, who honoured the ceremony as Chief Guest. Certificates were awarded to participants, and shields were presented to distinguished guests in recognition of their contributions.
