SHARP, Islamabad team, under the SEM Project, hosted a vibrant event to mark the “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence”, fostering awareness and advocacy for women’s rights. Led by Maleeha Sami (MHPSS Officer) and team members Mr. Anas Zeb and Ms. Maira Mansoor, the event featured powerful discussions on women’s rights and the importance of standing against gender-based violence.
Mr. Sayed Faiz Ahmad, CEO, Sayed Afghan Arts Academy, enriched the session with his inspiring insights. Students engaged in role plays, art competitions, and performances, blending creativity with activism to address this critical issue.
The activities served as a platform for young voices to express their solidarity and advocate for a society free of violence. Together, we continue to amplify the call for equality, dignity, and justice for all. The event concluded on a delightful note with a cake-cutting ceremony, followed by the distribution of prizes and books to the position holders and participants.
