SHARP team under the Talent Beyond Boundaries (TBB) program recently conducted two insightful sessions with male and female refugee community members at HUB Inspire in Khayaban-e-Sirsyed, Rawalpindi. These sessions, attended by 31 women and 32 men, were facilitated by Ms. Rukhsana Jafar, Senior Livelihood Assistant, and Mr. Nadeem Khan, Livelihood Assistant.
The discussions emphasized the critical role of SHARP, TBB’s managing partner, in providing comprehensive support to potential candidates at every stage of the employment process, from intake and CV preparation to interviews and post-job offer assistance. Participants were reassured that all services offered by SHARP and the TBB program are entirely free of cost.
The event was graced by representatives from UNHCR including Ms. Heidi M. Boener, Senior Durable Solutions Officer, and Ms. Kim Hannuna, Associate Protection Officer alongside Ms. Cindy Lam, Global Engagement Officer, and Mr. Asif Khan, Immigration Officer, representing the Canadian High Commission. They shared insightful feedback, provided guidance on the program’s significance, and expressed heartfelt appreciation for the participants’ active engagement.
