SHARP successfully organized two consecutive training workshops at the Shahid Hayat Police Training Center (SHPTC), Saeedabad, Karachi, focusing on Human Rights and Refugee Laws. The sessions were facilitated by our Project Director, Mr. Aatif Afzal, who shared valuable insights on the importance of upholding human rights while ensuring the protection of vulnerable communities. He strived harder to empowering law enforcement with the necessary knowledge for human rights protection. The event was graced by Principal SHPTC Captain (R) Haider Raza, who praised SHARP for its capacity-building initiatives.
The second training featured renowned human rights activist, Mr. Ali Palh Adv., who led an engaging session on human rights. He sparked enlightening discussions among the participants, deepening their understanding of these critical issues and their application in law enforcement. At the closing ceremony, the chief guest distributed certificates to the participants, recognizing their active engagement. SHARP presented Mr. Ali Palh and Captain (R) Haider Raza with souvenirs as a token of appreciation for their contributions.
