Celebration of Universal Children’s Day 2017: It’s a Kids Take Over

Universal Children’s Day offers each of us an inspirational entry-point to advocate, promote and celebrate children’s rights, translating into dialogues and actions that will build a better world for Children.
SHARP-Pakistan celebrated Universal children’s day in Peshawar. The objective of the event was to promote and celebrate children’s rights and ensure children’s participation.
On 23rd November SHARP (SDC) team organized an activity regarding Universal Children Day at SOS Village School, Hayatabad Peshawar. Young Afghan students from Mir Mohammad Khan School also participated actively in the event.
Guests were present from UNHCR, Afghan Commissionerate and Afghan Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation.
At the end, SDC team extended thanks to all the participants including students, teachers, guests, school management etc.
